Sears sells a 12k rpm craftsman for I think just under 40 bucks, thats for a nice 4 1/2 grinder.. not bad at all.

thing is ... you can get fiberglass panels to replace for almost the same amount as flares !!! http://www.toyotafiberglass.com tougher then the steel .. (check out the vids) little bit more work then just the flares .. but super easy to do .

So have you made a run at this yet? I need to do all 4 wheel wells on mine, and am thinking of the best way to do it without spending tons of $$. The front fenders seem relatively cheap to just replace, but the rears are tough. Either tons of $$ on fiberglass, replacing the entire thing, cutting and welding new fenders on or a fiberglass job..... This is why I used to buy new cars... but this one will be a lot more fun in the winter than that Sedan!

Whats the best way to attack rust around the windshield?
