that thing is absolutely amazing!

 

holy poop! i know your truck! i saw it sitting at maaco for a while and it was before i bought my 1st gen. i worked in the same little block. i was so in love with your truck! this is awesome i saw this.

I only have three that I took before I ran it off to the tranny shop. The gearbox let go on the drive up from Houston, which turned an "awesome deal" into a "good deal" for the price (I got it for well under the $5500 he was asking).





I'm in New England next week on business and in Colorado immediately after that, so it'll be after xmas before I get to take it out for a real spin.

 

man, that thing looks like it just came off a showroom floor...

 

It has some blemishes.. the windshield has a crack at the drivers side a-pillar, the two l-shaped trim pieces (inside) are broken, rear bumper looks like it pulled a trailer that was a hair too much for it.

I'll get it restored up, eventually. One thing at a time.

 

It isn't the nicest. But I loved her. My 86 Sr5. She had 245876K original miles. I put her through hell then threw a piston and couldn't afford to fix it. So I had to let her go. Did some nice custom work to it.
