Hah hah! Don't sweat it. I hoped you didn't take my reply as condescending.
Think about how a modern alignment machine works. All measurements are taking from the wheel excluding the tire, and are expressed in degrees. So the machine doesn't know wheel/tire size; it's relying on what it "sees" the pads on the wheels doing when it's taking measurements.
I attached an image of the conversion chart that came with the toe plates I bought for checking toe myself. The equivalent measurement numbers are based on the length of the toe plates, and would change if the toe plates were longer or shorter. I've also attached a photo of the measurements from an alignment I had done to the '86. Note all measurements are in degrees.
