What was in original tool kit
I have a 1988 long bed extra-cab that I bought in 1989.
At the flea market this morning I saw this Toyota adjustable wrench. So I bought it.
It has been so many years that I could not remember what my truck came with. So I searched the truck.
I have the long rod that you use for the jack or for the spare which is stored behind the seat. There is an extension piece for that rod - I guess because I have a long bed - but I do not need to use the extension it to lower or raise the spare.
There is a crank handle for the rod.
There is a lug nut wrench.
There is a green tool bag.
When I bought the truck it had the extension, handle, and lug nut wrench in the green tool bag.
Were there any other tools included. I have the owner's manual and all it shows is that there is a tool bag under the passenger seat.

Then I guess my tool bag is complete because it has no tools except for the lung nut wrench.
Never seen a Toyota "angle wrench" before. Wonder what vehicle it came with.

I saw another Japanese adjustable wrench at the flea market that also has angle wrench stamped on it. So I guess that is what they call an adjustable wrench.
I also saw an bought this little 8mm X 10mm open end.
Few more trips to the flea market and I should have enough tools to work on the pickup....

I have the Toyota screw driver. I am not sure which truck it is from (my dad had 2 2wd pickups (an 86 1 ton cab chassis, and a 92 base model short bed). It could be from a truck he worked on in the early 80s at his diesel shop.
The adjustable wrench could've come with a forklift or skid steer loader that they made.

That reminds me. I had a Toyota screwdriver. I think it was the kind you could flip the bade so it was straight or phillips. Been too long to remember.
I bought my first car about 1972 from the used car lot at a local Toyota dealership. It was a Sunbeam Alpine. Don't remember the year of the Sunbeam - think 1960. The ignition switch was broken and you stuck the Toyota screwdrive in and turned it to start the car. Car cost $250.
Later on I went to a wrecker and took the ignition switch out of an old Jag, the push button, and a bunch of switches. Wired the ignition switch to the push button. Turn the key on and pushed the button to start the Sunbeam.
The Sunbeam and screwdrive are long gone. 17 years or so later I bought my 1988 Toyota pickup.
Edit: Back from the flea market this morning and I found another 14 x 17. Looks to be newer.
I can only guess the cars came with tools, but maybe not the trucks.
