What does a missfire at start up sound?
I think I might have head gasket issues, and I read someone talking about the missfire at startup...
I have noticed once in a while my truck sounds weird on start up, instead of the regular re-re-re-re-start sound it goes more like reeee-start.
Does anyone even know what I mean?

Ummm, ya about the no compression thing - thats a good way to describe it. But I dont know what you mean about the seal start, like sounds like a seal the animal, or a seal on the truck.

rings need compuresson to seat on the cly. and when they do if there bad it will just leak on down but... fuel and oil (like a wet compuresson test) gives you a seal on the rings to the cly thus allowing you to start and run
