You ram it against a palm tree. and weld it some more.
Got some piping and cut and grinded it down to strengthen the bumper, and welded it from the bumper to the shock hoop.
uhh ill get finished upclose pictures tomorrow for you guys. forget about em.
AND check out them wheels. gotta love mpg's right?

Lets see.
1. Improperly installing bumper with winch the 1st time.
2. Damaging palm tree with bumper to push it back on.
3. Driving illegally endangering the life of your friend.
4. Wearing a questionable t-shirt.
My suggestion: Stop tempting Darwin's theory and Murphy's Law before you and/or your friend become a statistic. In spite of what you might think at your age, you are not invincible, nor immortal.
And when you do stupid and illegal things, don't take pictures and be sure not to post them on the internet.
I am glad you got your bumper fixed properly, I hope, and at least it was a Toyota.

Ask me about the guy I have right now who is on probation and will be a felon for the rest of this life and he's 20 years old. Vehicular assault resulting in injury or death. Funny stuff.

If your gonna build a Winch Bumper. Build it strong enough to take the load of a winch!
If it doesn't, you should seriously consider building a new better one. Don't just "weld it up" and call it good. Especially not to the top of the Shock Hoop! If you're going to attach to that, go to the base. Where it is stronger for the direction you will be pulling against it. Shock hoops are designed for vertical bumps. Not HORIZONTAL PULL!!!!!!!!
And I 3rd what the Wabbit Said!!! It's Stupid teens and young adults that give all young people a bad Rap!

Sometimes it is the spur of the moment decisions that cause the most heartache and pain. That has to be one of the dumbest things I have seen posted here, but I'm glad nothing happened to you or your buddy.
Take a few seconds to realize the consequences of the choices that you are about to make. Sorry to be a buzzkill.

people chill out. buncha haters on here or what? yea i may be 18 but im not stupid and think im invincible.
the bumper came with the truck i didnt build it. i knew my bumper wouldn't be able to hold it the first time. but i tried it anyway, just for the hell of it. and connecting it to the shock hoop is ok. because later this week we are reinforcing it on the other side to the frame.
it was my friends palm tree and its getting cut down today!!
ppl dont worry about my friend. we were in an area where it doesnt matter and no one cares. its not like i went on the highway with him on it. jeez and im a good driver so it wasnt like i was trying to throw him off. and 3rd gear in my truck is like 15mph.
