no sound, crappy resolution.....
In the second vid look and compare the tire to the ground. I think I can safely say that the mud was like ice. (being that I had no traction while braking) It was pretty amusing for about 10-15 minutes but then it got old...

If he had a locker it would have spun around like a top.
HMMWV dude i would seriously invest in lockers. Ever since i got double locked with 5.29s, the 4Runner has performed amazingly!
They are especially beneficial in the mud when you need that extra push. Plus it looks a lot cooler when the amount of mud on the truck is symmetrical on both sides apposed to open diffs

I think it's pretty common actually. Anywho, here's the pics.
I only picked the best ones out of the many that I took.
This is THE most flex I can get out of it. Notice the tire is about 4 inches off the ground....
And in case your wondering, that is a big pile of hardened blacktop/asphault.

Yep, those tires aren't for mud at all. I have them on both of my 4rnr's.They fill up quick and don't release. Slick, slick...

looks like your best investment would be in better tires. if your going to be wheelin. mine is not locked at all and does very well with the right tire. i run the mud kings. very good for the price.

Those "shackles" you have on the front are wothless. DOn't attempt to use them, I highly doubt they are rated for the weight of your vehichle. They can fly at you if they decided topull apart. Just a suggestion.

What, the carabiner things?? I'm not an idiot, I know those things are useless. I just put em on there cause I could and I also had no use for them. Believe it or not, about 3 people that I have towed out started to wrap their chains around and through those things. Good thing I like to double check....

On the other hand, those types of devices come in handy for other purposes. Pulling logs, etc. Ropes slide through 'em nice and easy.

I am not sure of the convertion but I think 14Kn is 4000 lbs
If so check conv tables to see what they will hold

So, when Im not working on my truck.. im out climbing. If it works for climbing it should work, NO WAY SIR> Its a kilonewton.
1KN = 224.6 pounds of impact absorbation, not load weight.
Example, I climb on 10.5 millimeter climbing rope rated at 6000 pounds absorptions.. that means I weigh 170 pounds and can fall X amount of feet, for a split second.. if I tried to haul 6000 pounds, my rope would ripe apart.
AS someone who has been teaching climbing for about 10 years, thats way off and dnagerous to think.
Those look like quick connects that you use for setting top rope, probably at best rated 8-20 KN.. a kilonewton is a rating of fall force, hence the newton. What is newton famous for? Gravity. Those things if they are only 14, are made of lightweight aluminum.. and have probably slapped up against stuff, which causes microfractures. Ive seen much stronger rated gear SNAP becuase some guy dropped them on a rock or concrete. Using those to pull anything is asking for them to snap.. which they will.
Its like trying to use a climbing rope to pull someone out with.. which I once experienced.. sure enough rope snapped and broke out a window.
Sorry if this sounds like a rant, but Ive seen a lot of people damn near kill themselves by using the wrong stuff in the wrong application. Go buy some HARDENED steel that is desgined to pull 20k pounds.

I got the carabiners at a dollar store somewhere for hanging my bike on in the garage, but they didn't fit around the tube so I peeled the rubber coating off of them and stuck em in those tow hole things. I never tow from there, always from my hook. But I don't think there were markings on the rubber coating, and there aren't any on the metal either. So I have really just made those strictly cosmetic and don't ever use them. Thanks for the info, and the compliments on the paint job.
On the topic of the sway bars, I haven't messed with taking them off yet. I've heard they give more flex if their off though. I might try to take them off in auto shop tomorrow.
