LOL I love the internet. Dont stress the haters Ive had 14 VWs and never had any real problems out of the ordinary with them. cars break they are machines. VWs have personality. Something toyota cars havent really had for 15 years or so.

Yotas around here always fetch a good sum but they are far and few between. If you try and sell it to a market that doesn't have many you will do better. And does that VW have a diesel in it? The gas versions do decently but I'm all for diesel. Just curious.

I hope you sell your truck to someone who wheels it, good luck with the sale.

Sad to see you sell it. Like other's i'd start high around 6.5-7k, because you can always go down on price.
I just got an 89 fox last week to drive more so I can keep the miles low on my truck. 2nd vw i've had. used to have 90 corrado g60. what year golf are you looking at ?

Not to hurt your feelings but i think the 7 and 8k quotes are a little outrageous. I have seen a few with the V6 and V8 swaps go for around 3,000 to 4,000 in my area. You have a nice yota but the engine swap might scare a few off. Set a price at what you feel its worth. You may have to come down some but it will just take finding the right person who really wants it.
*edited- from reading another thread i assume that the wheeling issues havent changed in your area this will make it even harder to sale the rig. Lets face it...3.8 with a holley isnt the best for a DD or MPG. Good luck it may take a while but some one will come around and "have to have it"

Personally as soon as someone has hacked it (good or bad) the price just went way down. It is not a Toyota anymore it is just a toy. Toys are only worth something to someone else that wants a toy to play with. I would give you max $1800 because the tires, lift and seats are worth something, everything else is custom stuff that is only worth something to you...........
That is just how I see it.

Hey Tacoma - dont sweat the haters man, just let em run thier mouth. you want a VW, get you one, iwish you good luck with your sale. The spare parts you mentioned, any chance you want to sell those WITHOUT the truck? Im not asking you to part out the truck (although there is some stuff i would take off of there) just sell me some of the extra parts you have. PM me is your interested in selling any of it, Thanks!!

Hello Marty McFly! That truck looks good, but I definatly wouldn't want it with a swaped motor, but whatever.... You're looking at 3600 tops. Anymore and you've found a sucker.... good luck either way
