Just call LCE direct (# is on their web site) and start asking questions. Best if you write your questions down before you call--makes it easier to not forget anything. When I bought the Weber from them for our '83, the tech support staff at LCE were a HUGE help. BTW- the Weber was the best upgrade/change I made to the truck. Power is up, and driving it now is great.

I have been running a Weber on my '87 22r for five or six years and love it. I agree with the prior post, best thing I ever did was the Weber upgrade. I now run a 38 but had a 32/36 for a while. I went to the 38 when I had a warranty issue with the 36. Redline Weber convinced me to run the 38. In my case the 38 gets about the same mileage as the 36 since I don't have to put your foot in it all the time. As far as confusing there is really not much to consider. A 32/36 or a 38, manual or electric choke. You will need a fuel pressure regulator ($15 - $30) and a cheap gauge. The Webers like no more than 3 lbs of pressure. I use the stock pump and a Holley regulator. I would consider buying a one piece adapter if you have the money since the ones that come with the kits can have issues it you don't seal them well. I use the LCE one piece adapter which is a very nice piece. I would buy a Redline Weber if it were me. There are lots of knockoff Webers on the market so be careful. You can buy a Redline on eBay, directly from Redline, and at other places as well. Here is Redline's page http://www.redlineweber.com/carb-kit.../toyota-truck/ . They are very helpful on the phone if you have questions or tuning issues. Like the prior post says, LCE is a great place as well but a little pricey, IMHO. Hope this helps!

I'm running the 32/36, with LCE's adapter kit. Also using the pressure regulator from LCE. Installed everything with the pressure gauge between the pressure regulator & the carb. Adjusted the pressure--then removed the gauge & put it away.

I bought from LCE simply because it was one-stop shopping. I bought a long list of items all at the same time, and everything worked perfectly.

What will you be using the truck for (DD or racing)?

What modifications, if any, do you plan on doing?

How many miles on your engine and what condition is it in?
