waterforGas?? is this crap??

We did this at work successfully running a push mower strictly on HHO with no gasoline added. It really does work and can save a load on gas however you are going to sacrafice some performance with that. How much performance I can't tell you. After my buddy gets it instaled on his 07' Hemi I will let you know. There are companies selling these devices claiming 50-100% increase in economy if you use their driving techniques. Driving techniques alone will get you 15%. The technology is out there it's just oil companies are buying it and keeping it from us.

nate, i too have been researching, the principle in all sounds feasible, the question is can enough gas be produced to make a significant difference. One thing that you will need to consider is adjusting your air/fuel mix to where you are using less fuel.

i'm calling bull!!!!
why aren't any cars being built with systems like this?
if indeed the technology is so inexpensive....a small automobile manufacturing outfit would cleanup...literally...the entire industry.

This is supposed to be a pretty good water injection system:

I know some of the Toyota turbo guys use it.

Not too sure about the particulars for yall 24v guys, but the same thing always holds true. Open up the intake (AFE is the absolute best), and open up your exhaust (mbrp is good if you don't wanna make your own exhast. love my megamouth downpipe).
Get yourself a pyro. Learn to drive RIGHT. Roll on the throttle, let it spool up before you get on it. 5/6spd gonna naturally run a little cooler than an auto.

I have a pyro built in to my Edge Juice w/attitude programmer. ETG's run ~1000 pulling heavy loads up hills, normal 6-800.
I run a K&N intake and a 4" silverline exhaust. It was all on the truck when i bought it. Wish i had a 5speed, but the auto was all i could find in my price range.

I have built a few of these units and installed them on older carbureted vehicles and it showed an increase in mileage. The key is getting a set up that produces enough HHO gas to be effective. I was able to completely close the idle mixture screws on the carb and the engine ran perectly. I had to go back and open them 1/4 turn for when i came to a stop because the sudden increase in vacuum would suck all the gas out and kill the engine. Considering that the mixture screws were open about 1 1/2 rounds before that is a significant decrease in the amount of fuel being used by the engine.

POST UP SOME PROOF!!! Videos, SOMETHING that is more than just words coming from your mouth. IF you could create enough energy from plain water, and have plain water come out the exhaust, why not connect a freaking garden hose from your exhaust pipe to your gas tank and then you'd have a PERPETUAL MOTION MACHINE and I'm telling you, you guys that have figured this out, YOURE GONNA BE FITHLY RICH!!!! I DON"T BELIEVE YOU!

You REALLY should make yourself a torque converter lockup switch...

AFE huh? That sounds interesting.
I set my edge on level two when towing, level 1 when driving normal. I really only use the truck for towing, not for driving. It spends about 95% of its time hooked up to a trailer.
I dont have any loss of power or any smoke, so i am not thinking i have bad injectors. My EGT's are not at an alarming level, just not as low as I would like. to be honest I don't know a whole lot about Turbo diesel engines.
As for the torque converter lockup....what is the purpose of that? And i mean that as a real question, because I really don't know. I know that if I want an exhaust brake I will need it.

Im a mechanic for a living and we are currently working on helping one of our customers install one of these systems on his car. If it works hes going to market them. Once it is done, I'll let you guys know the results. I'm curious myself.
