A picture is worth a thousand words. If you can get us a picture of the hose you're talking about, it would help us a lot.

Decided to attempt posting pic with the item (water bypass hose) installed, at this point I can possibly reuse the item so I do not want to remove until I have found a replacement?
Hard to determine but the top of the pic unable to see where the hose is connected to the thermostat inlet/outlet? and runs along the side of the oil pan to some type of module. Appears no longer that 12-18 inches.

Hose, Oil Cooler 15778-65020 https://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/p/T...577865020.html About $10 online, probably a little more at a brick-and-mortar dealer.

Believe I found the item by going to Toyota part supplier which they list as water bypass hose.#4, website does not provide item description but it certainly looks close enough for $12 to give it a try? Water pump/thermostat, belt installed now the matter of reassembling?
Appreciate U'all help, I thank you!

Story of my life, had I waited 10 min to review U'r comment I probly would have purchased the correct item and at a cheaper cost. I purchased the item thru same source so if it does not work I may be able to return and swap for correct part; if not, just another item to add to my list of extra parts.
Part No.: 16281-65010
HOSE, WATER BY-PASS
I thank you for the info!!

The hose you ordered goes from a nipple next to the Fuel Pressure Regulator, to underneath (and into) the throttle body. When you get the one you ordered, be sure to carefully eyeball the one you have. If you're not completely satisfied with your current hose, replacing it would be worth the $12.
