ergh.. you know its funny i know somewhere there is a picture of this bumper on a 4Runner.. and i have been trying to find it myself for a couple days now..
anyways fro anything i have seen its not an overly bad bumper and it doesent stick out all that far to the best of my knowledge.. the stinger type bumpers are worse for sticking out

Pricey tag on it too... lol I think I started a thread about that one in 2005 or so.

At the time summit sold it was $579. Think there are better bumpers out there for less dough.

IMO, the Warn bumper looks a bit awkward on the trucks and 4runners. It just seems a bit too big. I think it looks amazing on the Land Cruisers, since it's more fitting to their size. But hey, different strokes for different folks

downsides are its weight and cost. while the weight can be a plus though in how strong it is. installation wasn't bad, did it myself with a floor jack and some 2x4's. It uses the factory tow hook spots as 4 of the mounting points. All of my nuts inside the frame for the tow hooks twisted off inside so I welded the bumper to the frame as well as using the other mounting points. They include shims for a tighter fit to the frame if it doesn't line up perfect. also included is a remote solenoid mount if your winch has one.

Sorry the only picture that I have of mine now. I got a huge deal bumper with m-8000 winch. It is a bit heavy, it will also makes a great deer slayer if one should ever jump out in front of your truck or runner. No regrets with buying this bumper.

I have a 1" BL and left the brackets alone. Anything more and you might have to do some cutting and rewelding if you want it lining up right. I can live with the 1" gap in mine
I however just realized a bit of a downside to how it mounts now that I'm preparing for an SAS. The front brackets mount to the frame a good 8" in and cover where the front leaf spring perches will go. Gonna have to do some major cutting and probably adding some gussets for strengthening

I have the warn bumper and love it. I have a 2" BL on my truck and I need to make a bracket or something to move it up to where it should be. New they are expensive, luckly for me one of the guys I work with was selling his and I got a good deal on the bumper. But if you do buy it you won't be dissapointed at all it is a great bumper.

Im bringing this thread back from the dead
i found out that this bumper does fit on a 2nd gen 4runner but the only thing that doesn't fit are the 4runner turn signals does this sound right to you guys?
If that is true how hard would it be to swap the turn signals cause i am set on getting this bumper when i can afford it

I think the 3rd gen pickup and 2nd gen 4Runner bumper-mounted turn signals are the same.

im assuming your saying that the turn signals are different compared to the 4runner and pickup right?
