wanting glass to break up in glasspack...
#101
I had straight headers for a little while. It gave me headaches, and I got a ticket. I have no money so I just bought a CherryBomb Turbo, crossover pipe from Downey, and had a shop weld it all up with 2 1/4 pipe. Honestly even this gets loud sometimes. Its annoying, BUT its the cheapest route I could go while not going deaf.

I run a cherrybomb where the cat used to be stock size and a pipe out the side before the back tire, sounds good when you get on it and can barely even hear it over the mud tires, but the sound at idle isn't the best (might have something to do with all the engine noise haha) And when your in high school loud is better.... My buddy has an 80 f-100 with a straight 6 n a header to dual pipes and cherrybombs out the back, and it was the coolest inline ive ever heard until it fried a couple cylinders, he really liked floatin that thing out (and it baked the best posi's ive ever seen a truck do)

If you want to piss everyone off, run a stack with a 35 degree bend and a 55 degree cut. Put your FLOWMASTER in the upright position where your cat should be lol
And everyone is talking about flow..... you can't get any better flow than no muffler.
a bit on the loud side.

Years ago, I hit a rock that ripped off and mangled my muffler. I took the muffler off an old john deer and put it on. It sounded good enough and the car ran fine so I left it. That's totally unrelated, but all the muffler talk made me remember it.
And I really don't know why you would ever want your exhaust to pop. It just sounds like your truck is out of tune.
That glasspack that was put on when this thread began is probably worn out and popping like crazy by now.
