hey guys, got sick of this problem so i dropped it up to a friend of mine for him to have a look at it, he found out it was the hazard warning light switch that was causing this whole indicator problem...something so simple....has anyone had to replace this before????
im now finding it tough to find one...its something like 120 bucks off toyota : (

Hmmmm didn't think of that. Sorry about that.
I don't see why they would not work but I don't think you really wanna change it around.
Maybe if you can get yours out and just clean it up and re-grease it. I read back a bit, are you still having issues using the blinkers normally, signaling for a turn, do they work alright or no?

if you have the time...I'd pull it apart and see what you can clean up. Maybe just some bad contacts. I'd also spread a little bit of contact grease on them as well.
