?Vacuum issue? 88 efi 4x4
1988 4x4 , 5 speed with tach cluster , oil and coolant gauge ( temp gauge acts crazy at times but mostly just hangs down ) on cluster do not work so I have a after market installed ( feel free to give pointers on how to fix) I have a fsm and I’ve looked at so many posts and other forums and I’ve just about had it , this is my second time in the past week to re do every line and I can’t find my issue . Rough idle possible miss fire . I’ve installed a new distributor cap, rotor , plugs and wires , thermostat, fuel filter will be installed tomorrow when it shows up . Everything is Toyota oem parts . If anyone can help me out or wouldn’t mind sending me pics or posting pics of their rigs it would be greatly appreciated.
The only one I’m not sure of, fsm mentions a plug it in at high or low altitude but I’m in central Mississippi so I’m not real sure what to do here . *I did not put the screw in it *

If it's a vacuum leak, it could be anywhere. Have you gone around the engine with starter fluid and listened for rpm change? Do you have any codes? There should be a vacuum diagram in the fsm. Not sure how helpful it is. If you can find iamsuperbleeder on here, he did a pretty extensive engine rebuild that might have what you need for hose running.
I don't know why people put bolts in the vent tube for the throttle dash pot

That line(if it's attached to the dashpot) should have a small brown vacuum restrictor on it. I'm not sure of its real name. It regulates how fast the dashpot
lets the idle return to base idle.
lets the idle return to base idle.
