Turbo Exhaust Stud Stripped

Turbo Exhaust Stud Stripped
I'm looking for ideas here for this Turbine Outlet Elbow. 87 22rte
3 studs, two are fine, one was missing a nut and stripped in the middle causing a pretty bad exhaust leak. I'm trying to avoid having to pull the turbo unit out and do unnecessary work if I don't have to.
Do these studs turn out like others ie: vice grips, etc? I haven't tried anything yet, hoping to find someone that has dealt with similar before. It's a tight squeeze in there, and its the stud closest to the block. I assume I'm going to have to pull the exhaust pipe out which is no big deal (hopefully).

This is going to be a pain then you might get lucky and the stud will just unscrew .
Being it is a exhaust stud my bet is it won`t move
I would venture the easy way is to pull the turbo out so you can work on this in a vise .
This is one of those cases where welding a nut on would be a big help trying to break this loose with vice grips .
You can try this with it still in the truck but the frustration level will be very very high because of not having room to work.
Replace all three studs with new and call it good.

Solved
I ended up cutting the stud shorter right through the stripped section, took about 15 minutes of struggle and a bloody knuckle. Put on new gasket. It left enough thread available to tighten the nut down with 2 threads exposed out the end. Glad I didn't have to yank the turbo out
