Tuck moans when cold out??
Ok no need to flame me about moaning.
My truck makes a moaning sound when it is really cold out. It only does it when it is moving and the noise changes as the speed changes. I can also feel it in the footwell (vibrations). The noise goes away as the truck warms up (not the engine but the axles). Any ideas anybody?

Um, yeah, look what happened the last time somebody said their truck moans:

I'd change that title if I were you.

I won't use the word but my truck does something very similar and only when it is bitter cold. Once the truck warms up, it goes away. It hasn't done it since last winter. I repacked my front wheel bearings last fall, they looked good. Still did it.

OK just to clarify it isn't the Fan clutch or the steering rack. I am pretty sure it is either the spindle bushing or wheel bearings and was wondering if anybody else has had this problem. It is only when it is bitterly cold.
