Truck still won't run!

Yeap, your alternator is dead, get the kit from toyota or buy rem. or new, it all depend on you... So how do you know that there is 3% water is still in the gas? it should run fine with 3% in it so you said that it ran fine then battery went dead so replace the alternator then you all set. Never go that deep anymore, I dare not to go that deep if I have a fully lift truck.

buy one with the life time warranty ever if it craps out you can take it back
a lot of people here will tell you get the rebuild kits or buy only a factory one but if one of those go out you are out what you spent and still need another ALT those lifetime ALTs from auto zone work and if they don't keep taking them back
I personally bought one from autozone and never had any problems with it for the 4 years it was in my ford before that I was getting it rebuilt every 4 months at 35$ a rebuild and did it 3 times until I bought the autozone one

I've removed it about 5 times already and hosed it down with wd-40.
Oh, and my alternator is toast. Even with my discount, a remanufactured Toyota alternator would set me back $130. So I got a used Toyota one from a co-worker for $30. He says it still works, so I'm going to try it. What a deal!

It runs! I put new fuel in and replaced my fried alternator, and it runs just like before, which wasn't the best to begin with, but it runs. I let it run for about 30 minutes just to get it warmed up and whatever was in the motor for the 4 weeks to work it's way out. Looks like I'm going wheeling this weekend.
Thanks to all who helped out! You Yotatechers are great! Thanks again!

It runs! I emtied the fuel tank once again, let it air out for about 5 days, then put new fuel in it, along with some water remover additive. Pumped out the fuel through the fuel lines again, until there was only about 3% water that I could see. Pulled the fuel filter again, and shook out all the fluid in there. Re-installed injectors with new grommets/gaskets, and it fired right up and ran. Then my battery died. I had just put a new one in about 2 weeks ago. So I exchanged it for a new one. It starts again, but it turns out the alternator is dead!
So could I have killed the alternator as well by drowning it? Could it be the electrical wires connecting it? How do I inspect it? Should I just shell out for a remanufactured alternator?
