transmission swap 5sp to auto
Quick Q for the guys that are online simple yes or no:
guy wants to buy my a340H outta my 89 has a 5sp 92/3
will the a340H interchange w.o having to change much. he asked and i honestly didn't know but i want his 5sp...

he will need all the electronic stuff to make it shift so its almost imposible without swaping all the wiring harness,its easy if he goes with a manual shift box,on your side its very easy go manual.

they are the only ones i know who makes the adapter but aren't 5sp cases cheaper to dual ? I don't mean like cheap just easier to deal with?

never meant like honda easy sorry... i thought there were more 5sp's with both forward and top shift cases then the a340. i also looked at the jeep tran/case.

the 340h sucks period...
get rid of it and get the 340f has a removable transfer case, then marlin, inchworm, ir trail gear have an adapter to any toy case...
but if you are set on a standard that guy will need your, 340h, transmission cooler and lines, your computer... if the years are the same or you pull the FSM up on each others rigs you would want his computer and yadda yadda... but imo i would get the 340f auto is so much more fun off road i believe...

im trying my best to get it sold.... not happening i haven't checked to see which auto my 86 has. hell if i could get the cab for my 89 sold i'd dual the 86. or turn it into dedicated rig
