Transmission Fluid Change on 1993 3vze 4wd
Hello everyone!
I just completed my transmission fluid change and am a bit confused. I followed the instructions from page 16 of this manual:
http://www.the-roo.com/4runner/Maintenance/maint.pdf
So I drained the tranny fluid from BOTH outlets and screwed the bolts back in, filled it back up and took it for a test drive. Everything seems fine except I tried putting it into 4wd and the first time it grabbed the grears before hitting 10mph pretty hard. so i cruzed around some more on regular 2H, then went back to try 4Low again and it didnt want to grab the next gear and I didnt want to rev it too hard cause I thought it might explode.
Questions:
What the hell is the little drain pan for?
How do I refill the part that uses the little drain pan?
Feeling pretty stupid right now, this shouldnt be that complicated. thanks for your help.
