Hey bud. I did get the tps set right I'm assuming. I kept getting the code 51 tho. But the cel never came on so I'm guessing it wasn't a problem.
It is a real pain to get to. I would suggest removing the intake to do it or the water neck thing.
It takes a lot of patience to get done. Alligator clips are a must though.
Email me if u need fast response with some help

With a ball end Allen wrench you can get to both screws with out issues, unlike the factory Phillips head screws.

I used pieces of vacuum hose to hold the ohm tester sensors on. I also swapped out the screws with allen bolts. The job would not have been possible had I not done these two things.
When my TPS went bad, it was easy to diagnose. When I took it off and hooked up the ohm tester sensors, the readings kept jumping around like crazy. I'm not sure if every bad TPS does this but mine sure did.

I'm having a similar problem I did test my AFM and it failed static test 3 from 4crawler's site but i just get code 51 which as far as I know has nothing to do with the AFM. Im sick of getting the finger on the interstate.

I know this thread is old, but this might help someone with the Code 51. My solution for my Code 51 on my truck was the Neutral Safety Switch. My truck idled fine, but would throw the code 51 so I didn't think it was the TPS. One of the teeth on the male side of the Neutral Safety Switch connector had broken off, so I rigged a new one and problem solved, no more Code 51. My reverse lights never worked since I bought the truck and now they do.
SUGGESTION: If your truck throws a Code 51 but Idles just fine, and your reverse lights don't work, then your problem is probably like mine and the Neutral Safety Switch is not functioning right.
