Im gonna have to agree that re gearing probly wouldent help a whole lot. I run 5.29s and drag ass with 2 dirtbikes and camping gear and a cooler in the back (up hills).

I really couldent imagine towing anything with a 22re. Sure it could be done. The 22re is an amazing engine and its not becuase of towing capacity.

I dont think when toyota engineered these engines they intended them to be used to pull anything but themselves.

I'm not a fan of synthetic oil in any vehicle over 200,000k. It is too thin and tends to find all the holes and leak out in no time
