I would check your O2 sensor wiring and also check for 12V at each injector. If you have that I would hit each injector with 12V and make sure it is clicking. I have had injectors stick on these trucks.

I feel ya. Does it give a CEL while running, un-jumpered?

Yeah, but does it have a steady or intermittent check engine light while you're driving?

Have not noticed it while driving, only with the jumper in place.

Here is the code for a 93 22re from the FSM. I would go over all the electrical connections and make sure they are all tight. I think there are only 2 that run from the main harness bundle. One goes to the afm and the other goes to the ignition. Then there is the small wire that attaches to the distributor. Look for kinks in the wires. Good luck. Hope the helps

Ok guys big update! The truck is running great got it all figured out and put back together. Boy this thing sure has been a pain and all because of one little mistake. Here is what I found. I took off the valve cover.....again... and got the crank to 12 and then went to put the cam sprocket on with the cam at 12. I have done this many times on this truck and would have to crank the crank shaft back and forth in order for the sprocket to slip on. I thought this was strange because then the cam never seemed to stay at exactly 12, maybe just a tad off. Well I tried it again but this time used a long screwdriver to push the chain tensioner over then slipping the sprocket over the cam without moving the crank. Hope this all makes sense!! Stabbed in the dizzy with the holding bolt in the middle of the slot. Buttoned everything up and started the truck. Hit it with the timing light and wow it was perfectly timed and didnt even have to adjust it at all. Took it for a drive and it runs great. Thanks again everybody with all the replies and the help. I love Yotatech! Still not sure why the code 13, but no CEL so just gonna drive it and see what happens. Only the code with the jumper in place and nothing while driving.

Thanks again guys!!!

Yea mine is holding a tps code but it dosnt show at all with out the jumper in. But I get a surging rpm at idle. I believe the two are connected. So now I just need to clean my tb and test my tps. But with all the headache she has given me lately. I'm just happy to drive her for the time being.

Yaaaay!! The code may be left over from innacurate timing, or leaving a plug disconnected earlier. Pull EFI fuse and see if it goes away and stays away. Good you got it figgered out.

NICE!
One FSM I have says to put a SST (special service tool) in the little hole on the cam gear and rotate the cam gear just as you slide it and the chain on the cam. I use a tapered punch that fits just right into that hole. It basically does the same thing as the big screwdriver.
I made the same mistake you made way back and had similar symptoms.
Great to hear its up and running great.
