Detonation killed the piston.





hope you can see the cracks in the flywheel.



connection seperated where it shouldnt have




silver rivets and scorch marks. Pilot bearing fell out when i removed the plate and BB's rolled down my driveway...



Pic of the head that i got from B4Wheeler that i sent out to be rebuilt before the motor went completely up. Had hopes of having an engine rdy to go, but we can see, that didnt happen

I'll have more pics on later. So far the Heads, Block, Plenium and Fuelrails are at the shop getting a good cleaning.Went shopping at B4Wheeler's house yesterday ( Thanks a ton!!! ) for a few parts that didnt make it..lol In the process of cleaning up whats left, I'll show you why later, and have a couple goodies that i might be putting in... in a few weeks when it all goes back together. @ Lumpy yeah it is a huge mess right now.. but not for long... and doesnt everyones pully look that way? lol still looking for that idle up for my PS pump tho (hint,hint) thinki i got almost everything else i needed yesterday

the problem is you took this picture over two years ago, and you are just getting to it?....haha j/k
what are you pointing out?....the tensioner bearings are visable = no worky

yeah, the pic after the tensioner is part of the spacer for the bearings...there was no cover to be found....

The other sensor looks like the TVV. Was it on the back of the intake manifold?
They break all th time. One hose goes to the charcoal canister IIRC.
Your girl must really love you if she let's you explode an engine like that in the house.
