Think this cam would pass smog?
In California on my 87? A possible buyer wanted to know and I can't say for sure as I don't have smog here where I live.

I am not sure about the cam, but if the Doug Thorley header does not have a smog sticker then it will not pass. See about getting it smogged in South Lake Tahoe, since that is close to you and in California. I can get a smog test in central California for about $40. If it passes, then you could ask a little more for it. Smog tests are good for 90 days. You might want to check with your local DMV first to make sure it will still not need a smog test if you sell it in Nevada even if it does not pass in California.

The header is 50 state legal. I was going to take it to South Lake if enough people thought it may pass in Ca. but if not I'll just sell it in Nevada, don't really want to blow the money. I'll call around and see how much for a "pre test" is. The only reason I see it not passing is the cam. I used to live In Cali so I know how anal they are.
My wife wants to keep it now though I wish she would make up her mind.
