Temp gauge on digital dash.

Is the definitive temp gauge fix, the same for the digital dash?

I tried changing my air filter once. When I finally got the box open a family of squirrels
jumped out and attacked me. I never got my car back, they guarded it with their life so
I ended up selling it. Now whenever I have to change anything on my car, I just buy a
new one

No, the "definitive temp gauge fix" won't be the same for the digital gauges as it is for the regular analog gauges.

That thread references a broken wire in one of the coils that is used to move the needle up and down. A digital gauge won't have those coils of wire in it.

However, you may still have a bad connection somewhere.

What exactly is wrong with your temperature gauge?

I have never personally worked on one of those, I really can't point you to a common area to look, but someone else here might.

Just be carful about the squirrels. Okay? Don’t end up like me.

it doesn't move it is lit up but just sets in the very bottom position
I do have a working after market gauge that is analog... maybe they changed the sending unit? But, I'd assume the po did that because the digital wasn't working.
