Thats an OME steering stabilizer right? how do you like it? I think i might need a new one, since its nearly at 249,000 origional miles. Ive thought about going to a duel stabilizer but not sure yet. Might as well replace it on mine since i have already replaced the outer tie rods, and need inner tie rods/ pitman arm. If you don't mind me asking how much did the ome cost?

yep... I'm really starting to question superlift as my kit. the kickers don't appear to be theirs... and on closer look, the compression bump stops don't match either. the kits I'm seeing have square tubing spacers or round tubing extensions, but mine kit has the compression bump stop brackets integral to the lower crossmember brace where it bolts to the original lower a-arm adjusters.
wow... now I'm befuzzled.

Hey lets, say on your driverside spindle extension, grab that code on it, and we can compare. They should be the same on each brand of kit. Therefore if it matches mine, or Dales, we could tell you

Mines, trailmaster:

Diver side spindle extension: 90-4009 D
Passenger side : 90-4010 P

So i would guess if yours are trailmaster those would match.

My kit is different than the current Superlift kits. They quit making mine in about 1994-95. The lower bump stops broke and I made those to replace them, so yeah the would look different.

Yeah its a OME stabilizer, don't remember the cost, maybe $60.

My kit didn't use spindle extensions. It drops the relay rod down instead. It also replaced the upper control arms with lower ones.

I'm not in a position to be able to get the codes off the spindle extensions being that I'm 3000 miles from the truck... but I can say that the compression bump stop is part of the diff and a-arm drop bracket. they are not a square tube or even round pipe with the stop at the end., but physically part of the drop bracket. I had to remove my old bump stops and bolt the bracket to the old stop mounts.

Ok so I just bought a 1990 Automatic 4runner project and was looking into lifts. Eventually it will go SAS and 5spd but for now I was hoping to get it up about 4" with some 35's and re-gear. Im not afraid to trim some fender, will I fit 35's?

Edit: I just looked up the price of those 4" kits and they are 1,000$ plus? Why not just SAS?

How hard is it to lift an ifs truck by yourself? Does it need any alignment when done? Could you guys post some more pics of the front suspension for me. This would help out alot.

Yes it will need an alignment. It is doable by yourself, but much easier with a partner in crime and some tools you might not have lying around.
I don't have any pics of my 4" IFS lift components installed so can't help you there. But you can go to some of the lift kit makers' sites and see pics of what's in the kit and how it's installed.

well this is my 95 runner , I lifted it about 2-3" just with FJ 80 Ccoilsprings in the rear and cranking the t-bars.luckily i did not have to regear, as my runner came stock with 4.88's i threw 33" x10.5 " mt's on
