You can install ball joint spacers up from for 1.5"-2" of lift:

And for the springs in back, you can get a set of new springs from some place like JC Whitney, or OME and Downey have 2" lift springs or you could use a Rancho Soft-Ride Add-a-leaf kit with your existing springs.

lca?? what is that? And axleike, sounds like good advice. My truck doesn't seem to be squatting too much. But i guess leaf springs wear out unlike the torsions?

f4stunna, for what you're talking about prolly the best way to go is new OME rear leafs since you have a broken one, an add-a-leaf is worthless to you. To keep it level, you can either tighten the tension on the torsion bars(springs, but not the traditional style ya normally think of) or install ball joint spacers between the wheel hub and the upper control arm. The spacers is the route I would go, you can keep pretty close to stock ride quality with 2" lift. Then OME shocks, go with cheaper if you want, but they are excellent! Then your lift is taken care of...ball joints up front if they need to be done, just get them from a parts place and install 'em while you have the wheels off for the lift.
acerbis, lca stands for lower control arm, and all springs wear out over time, some are simply more prone...apparently stock 'yota leafs are prone, just like cheapish brand of lift leaf springs will usually sag after they've been loaded a couple times.

Yes, that takes care of lifting it.
As AxleIke said:
rear leafs $200
shocks 4x$80
bj spacers $125
And, taking care of any other loose crap up front. Even 2" of lift puts more strain on your steering components, stock parts will hold unless you're doin extreme stuff, but not worn out stock parts.

Sorry. Here is a better link. It says for pickups, but they are the same as the first gen 4runners.
For the rear, you pick the spring set you like the best.

And a good place to order OME parts is www.cruiseroutfitters.com . I know they don't really have much listed for pickups/4runners but Kurt is a great guy and very reasonably priced. You may have to call him if you don't find what you want on his website.

Normally, the only bushings that need changing are the lower control arm bushings. There are 4.
The best place to get them is the dealership. They are expensive.

Sounds good.
You can talk to phil, who's post i referenced above, who works at TRDParts4U. The reason I suggested him is often they will cut deals for YT members. Have you talked to them?
Good luck.

I got the best deal at a local 4x4 shop. You should check at one.
