Suggestions for unblocking the engine coolant drain
Took out my engine coolant drain plug this afternoon only to find it gunked up. Did some searching to see that this is pretty common, but after a good 30 minutes of trying to dig the black gunk out with a screw driver hasent gotten me very far.
Any suggestions for to trying to break up that gunk in there and get it out? I have the timing cover off now from replacing the chain. I was trying to avoid taking off the exhaust but it might be the only way to get enough room in there to really try and knock that stuff out.

maybe try starting it if you can with the timing cover off. let it run and warm up and letting the pressure build up and see if it finds the weak spot wich would be the open drain plug
