Stock A/C Conversion: Experts Wanted/Knowledge Needed.
Hi All,
I'm hoping all the Yota experts can here can give me some info.
I'm in the process of gathering parts to add stock A/C to my 94' Pickup before this summer. Today I found a 95 4runner with a 22re in the yard si I grabbed the compressor mounting bracket and all the associated brackets/mounting hardware for the condenser and drier, and all the A/C lines. I wondering if there is anything else I need to go back and grab off of the 4runner. I'm under the impression that the 4runner evaporator box under the dash is different from the pickup one, but is there anything else I should go grab off that 4runner? Do I need to grab any wire harness stuff/ Relays? I plan on putting in a new compressor, drier, condenser and whatnot. I can get a good deal on the OEM Denso parts so other than those is there anything else I should grab?
I plan on doing a write up when I install.

Pretty sure there's a VSV, an A/C idle up valve, a crapload of vacuum lines(if you're lucky the sticker under the hood is still there showing you how they're routed), an ON/OFF button on the dash(connected to the switch somewhere under there, which you might want to grab too, if you haven't), and a relay involved. And whatever else I'm failing to mention(of which there's likely to be some things, since I haven't removed the entire A/C system from my truck that has it yet, just everything easy to get at, which is basically the extent of my knowlegde of it). Your wiring harness is(should be) pre-wired for A/C and have plugs for everything already there(both of mine are/do).

You'll definitely need the A/C Amplifier and thermistor/pressure switch. I don't know if the ECM is different, but its main participation is in the idle-up. If you have 4wd and auto, the stock '94 has an additional ECT switch to turn off the A/C at some point.
This is a big job; I look forward to your progress notes.
