They are cheap, they can be found with almost any backspacing, and if you bend one, you hammer it back into shape, which can't be said for alloys which are more likely just to break.

can i be the odd duck out and say im just a big fan of the stock AL

although painted stock AL ones would be my second choice to cheepy steel wheels that everyone has....

If you like it glossy, you can put a clear coat over the duplicolor black. That's what it says on the can, so I assume they make a clear coat for wheels. In my opinion, the duplicolor already is pretty glossy. I didn't clear coat mine because I didn't want them to be any shinier.

Or I could powder coat them and will last you twice as long and withstand alot more abuse than paint....

Stock wheels, or silver wheels. Black just is becoming too much of a "I have black wheels, so I am a wheeler" type of look that a lot of people are using. If you have the time to take care of your silvers, then they just look better IMO.

^^It's the durability that you're worried about. IDK if the engine enamel will work because it's more heat treated.
