I'm pretty certain everything Procomp makes is garbage. I've got the ES2000 and it didn't really make a difference.

I ordered mine from Rock auto. It was a monroe, with dust boot.Perfect match.

got a procomp es2000 on my 91 and it removed every bit of bump steer from the truck. the steering is more firm than it was before and doesn't fight back with changes in the road surface even on uneven surfaces.
I'd recommend it to anyone with a 2wd p'up that doesn't try to race the truck, and keeps the alignment near factory spec's.
so I guess, your mileage may vary
