Signs of a bad pilot bearing?

To adjust freeplay, shorten or lengthen the clutch master cylinder's rod by turning the threaded gizmo that connects it to the pedal. Might try lengthening yours a little to see if it helps. Don't go too far, else the clutch might not be able to fully engage. You want some freeplay at the beginning of the pedal stroke. The FSM gives measurements.

Pruney81, Yeah, it was easier to shift into first if i was rolling a little, slowly letting the clutch out just a notch while still pushing the shifter into first. it never grinded in the forward gears (except once) i think in 2nd or 3rd.
I Checked the clutch fluid res. and it's almost full. Its the little guy beside the brake fluid cylinder right? The one with the plastic float thinging in it?
It's 3/4 full, maybe alittle more. That seems finda normal though i think. I Dont really know though cuz i've never checked it before. I CHecked the master and slave cylinder not for movement but for leaks and i cant find any spillage around either. Why might their only be 3/4 fluid? Thanks, Ryan

I haven't had a chance to inspect the clutch pedal again but the other day I went under and depressed it with my hand while looking at the bracket and I saw no obvious flexing.
I have been driving the truck and I have noticed that I really need to search for a smooth shift into third.
I have to push the stick up and over to the right then pull it up and to the left which leads me to believe I may need a new shifter seat and socket from marlin.
There is minimal play in the shifter while in gear, but having to manipulate the stick to get it into third like that points me toward the shifter seat and socket...
