A340H where's first
Hate to make so many threads on different dumb issues, but it's the all knowing internet, I've done plenty searches but nothing sounding like my issue..
So after adjusting the kick back cable, it feels pretty good, engages like butter, runs great, gets up to speed great, but sometimes, it stops and goes in second, sometimes first, all other gears work though so I can't imagine it being a solenoid since they control 2 gears each.. When it works, it'll sometimes be perfect for awhile and be beautiful, then back.. A340H I can shift in L and it'll go fine, when I hit 2 it feels like how it gets sometimes in stop n go
changed the ATF with Valvoline Max Life Dex/Merc, well just drained and refilled pan, pan was quite a bit over full, so I poured while constant checking, got it on the money there.
I don't trust jacks, or jackstands for laying under an unlifted truck, I had a friend crushed in highschool by that.. So I just looked for a decent ditch hole thing so I can have ample space, this was perfect beside the driveway. Broke all my ribs, arm. leg. face. head, shoulder, chest, collarbones, not even 9 months later crawling under trucks and wrenchin em.. can't afford to pay someone, wouldn't anyway, I'm a man, I should learn!
patina.
Anyways, so that kickback adjustment helped a lot, and I know there sensors and other things to tell the computer what speed you're going and where it shifts at, so what could it be, what should I clean up or buy a new one of to cure this problem.
