Severe stumbling/hesitation and stalling (Longish post)

Yeah, I've pretty much resolved to try pulling the injectors and sending them off for a cleaning, now that I'm beginning to take stuff apart. I read your post on the general truck tech section (or whatever) and am interested in seeing what mine look like when I take them out.
Aside from the injectors though, this timing chain thing seems wrong. Here are some pics:
The thingy-ma-bobber behind the chain sprocket is rubbing here, and is leaving a mark (hard to see in pic)
And here thing just look terribly off-center:
Is that normal? I've been looking around for pictures and the like, but haven't had much luck.
Also, I thought late model trucks (such as mine) didn't get a double row timing chain? Or am I wrong?
[EDIT: On that last pic things look even worse than I remembered. Fixable with a kit right? Not indicative of more major problems I hope..? ]
