Just spit-ballin' here, but have you tried, oh I dunno know, a Toyota dealer?

Not much to work with. Actually nothing.
Is this what you gave the parts store?
Need a model # and production date off the door jam vin sticker.
And of course, a better name for the part besides "sending unit".

I had bad luck with aftermarket sensors not giving proper ranges. Now I use OEM Toyota that are maybe twice the price, but always on the right electrical output ranges. Try a Toyota dealer online as they ship,or used one from a salvage yard.
