I believe the only thing that limits any factory IFS/IRS is the relatively weak power couplings (CV joints and shafts and soccer mom axle disconnects). I'm tossing around the idea to build a huge, indestructable, heat-treated shaft package, no voo doo, just super size everthing to take the strain of lockers and huge effin' meats. Who cares if you lift a tire, the other tire now has double the contact pressure.

Good idea on the beefed up CV and such... but what about all the bushings, alignment problems with IFS? So many things moving and wearing and tweaking.
I wonder how many people have beefed up or improved their IFS and said to themselves... "after all that money and time, I could have just SAS'd"
I wonder how many people have SAS'd and said to themselves... "I sure wish I had my IFS back"
