Rough idle/misfire Issue

Rough idle/misfire Issue
I have an 88 22r carb California pickup. I have been trying to find the issue why I have a rough idle. The problem is when I start it up cold with choke engaged it runs perfect. Once the choke drops out the missing starts and the idle stumbles slightly. I have replaced the install manifold gasket. Replaced the vacuum advance can on the distributor. Done a complete tuneup and installed a rebuilt carb. I checked the EGR for clogging when I did the install gasket and it was clear. Under load and driving it has great power and runs well. It’s just the damn idle! Lol

Vacuum lines? Routing of same? Vacuum leak(s)? Distributor cap/rotor? Distributor rotor gap? Timing? Timing advance? Valve lash? PCV valve/grommet?
Mine's never done that, so I'm WAGging at this...

Pull the valve off and test it. You can put your mouth up to the vacuum connection and suck on it. If the valve opens and closes, you're good to go.
