replace alternator 94 4runner
hey guys i did some research and couldnt find any guide on how to replace the alternator in my 94 runner. i know i have to remove the distributor, to access it. changing my stock one to a 200 amp one. i got a heavy audio setup going on.
on a side note too i was wondering if there were any tutorials on how to remove the all the interior plastic panels inside the car. gotta dynamat.

It's a good upgrade to do if your running some subs and your light dim when you turn up the volume. Go to the service manual link here

or just search for it under the 86-95 trucks & 4runners forum, i believe it's a sticky so it's easy to find. Just download the torrent, then if you don't have a program to open the torrent you can get a program for free (i got OneSwarm and it unzipped it just fine).
Another option is going to Nctora and printing/reading it there

you dont have to remove the dist. just get the airbox out of the way. loosen it and take the belt off and pull out the alt. Also if you have an electrical shop near you they can rebuild your alt. instead of paying for a replacement. its alot cheaper. around here about 60 bux. should take you no more than an hour to do the whole job.

I got som electric issues my 94 4runner keeps losing the charge I tested te alternator n it was good I changed my battery but my voltage meter still goes down a little whenever I use somthin powered by electric any suggestions? Only thi I tht of was my alt wire being jus a little blue that's it?
