relocating transfer case oil cooler

relocating transfer case oil cooler
I have a '95 3vze with a 2" OME lift and Doug Thorley headers. When I had the headers and cat back exhaust installed the muffler shop relocated my transfer case oil cooler because it interfered with the exhaust. Now its welded to the bottom of the frame. I'd like to move it higher but the oil lines are too short to get it anywhere, and they're 20 years old so I wouldn't mind changing them out for new longer ones. Problem is, the oil cooler is no longer available and I can't find longer lines with the metric banjo fittings.
Has anyone else had to replace or move this and if so how have you done it?

I recently replaced an engine in a dump truck and needed a new oil feed line for the air compressor. Took the old broken hose to a hydraulic shop and had a new one made. Call a shop and see if they have the banjo fittings or can get them.

I tried one place that makes hydraulic lines and they said they couldn't do it. I guess I probably would need a noes cooler too since the old one was welded directly onto the frame. It's ok where it is for now but I'll have to keep looking.

You could always cut it off of the frame when you are ready to move it and either weld it back on or have some brackets welded on if there isn't room to drill holes for bolts. Maybe there are already bolt holes in the cooler. I've never noticed one on my 4runner. I'll have to take a look sometime.

found a DIY junk yard with 2 2nd gen 4runners. Pulled the cooler, bracket and lines off the one that looked in best condition. This will go on my list of future projects.
Also saw they had some wheels. I want one to use with a spare. I'll have to go back next saturday.
