rear window help needed
So my rear window will not roll up or down using either the keyed lock or the switch inside. does any one have a starting point from were to start from. i knoe the door switches are some times bad, the inside switches are some times bad the regulator is some times bad, and bad grounds. which should I look for first. I need to get this fixed asap cause I have stuff in the back i need to get out and more stuff to put in. any help would be great. I did a search and didn't really come up with anything. < Justin

First make sure the Window Lock switch hasn't been accidently pushed, I know this seems very obvious but you wouldn't be the first, and then make sure the rear wiper is retracted properly. Also have a read through this site, that might help.

Haha
Yeah i checked to make sure that the window lock switch was not ingaged. First thing I checked. The tailgate keyed switch stopped working, then the inside switch stopped working. I'm going to take the switch and console apart and try jumping the wires to see if the motor works, cause if the motor works then the switch would be most likely bad. Any one have any idea as to were to get a switch other than toyota? i'm sure the dam switch isn't cheap, the little things never are. Thanks for any info.
