Rattle between 1500-2000 rpm
I have a clicking/rattle near my water pump area on my 87 22r. 160k miles and I just got it.
The rattle goes away after 2k rpm. Can this be a timing chain problem or water pump problem or something else? I'm trying to combine my shopping list for rockauto instead of different orders later on.

Yay
I'm going to do a compression test when I wake up ( I need to go to bed) and if the numbers are good I'll buy the timing kit, water pump and maybe I'll even change the headgasket. Roughly $150 with arp bolts/studs

I just had it off for a valve adjustment...... I need to take it back off to make sure I set cylinder #3 valves good anyways. I just did a compression test and #3 was lower than the rest. I'll post my results
