Question on fan clutch

Hey all, I'm still new to owning an older 4 runner that needs occasional maintance from time to time, and had a question about the fan clutch on a 94 with the 3VZE.
I noticed when I start out in the morning with a cold engine it seems that the clutch is locked up, and makes that loud air churning sound,... but then about a 1/2 a block away I hear it taper off and 'release" itself and it gets much quieter. Is that normal behavior?
Thanks

. Yes. Thats Normal. . # 1 Cold motor, starts up, Fan clutch engages, then should disengage. You start to drive in 1st gear, its engaged, Then not. normal & GOOD. if it doesnt disengage, it will make everything boom, prematurely. My Aisin Fan clutch lasted 22 years. & now i cant seem to locate another. Nissan sold me 1 that fits, but wont disengage. The haydens, four seasons, beck arnleys, Will not Work with a 1991 3VZE, no matter what the auto parts stores {online too} tell you. & even if the could, theyre crap.

The 22 r fan clutch from beck arnley etc, will work ok. But Aisin is best. Regarding the 3VZE, thats another story > if they try to sell you the Hayden 2657 or the Aisin WO133-1619456......... save yourself the hassle. All the sites say the same thing, EXACT FIT ! But Theyre Not even close, this includes Rock auto, overnight auto, pep bums, Kraccken, Auto zone, parts geek,............................... I finally found an AISIN FCT-009 & bought it. The next day they cancelled saying it was no longer available. So i bought, what i thought was the next best thing, the NPW { Nissan pump mfg} it goes under multiple numbers{ they all do} Here are 3, parts geek & the rest will probably show it as WO133-1617347, NPW list it as T-90F, or 16210-65020. It fits, but theyre Temp Rating is wrong or its Broken, because it will not disengage. I have spoke with Aisin in torrance, about ALL the sites stating Aisin WO133-1619456 is an Exact fit for the 3VZE. Theyre Not.

"Good looking out man" = Good/helpful advice (a compliment)
"but check the date on the OP's post" = Your post reads as if it is in direct response to the OP's question that was asked over 5 years ago. A lot of new guys (not saying you are a new guy, defensive response not necessary) dig up old threads and respond without out noticing the date of the last post, just wanted to make sure that you were aware.
