Ps idler pulley bolt

Ps idler pulley bolt
So I'm finishing up bringing everything over from my old motor to my new motor and can't figure this out. The idler pulley from what I can see online is supposed to have a bolt through the bracket and into a threaded hole on the back of the pulley. Is this correct? Mine has a hole in the bracket not threaded and then just a nut on the back of the pulley. How's this setup supposed to work and what do I need to do about it. Thanks.

Do you have a picture of what you have?
Mine looks like the one you describe you seeing online, with the pulley looking like this: https://www.yotashop.com/toyota-4run...ey-4435035010/

It's the same exact bolt as the 4 that bolt that bracket to the block under the dizzy...
you could just pull one of those 4 is over kill on that bracket.

So far as I can tell, it's just an ordinary (flange head) bolt. If I had to guess, M10-1.25 x 100mm or so. Take the pulley down to your local Ace hardware, and ask for their assortment of metric bolts. Very carefully try an M10-1.25 to see if it fits. (The 100mm is really a WAG; try measuring how much throw you need first.)
