Pro comp light bar
What do ya'll think of this bumper its only $139.99 is it any good have ya'll seen anybody on here runnin them. I kinda want something cheap that will hold some lights and look good but I dont really see many pre-runner bars for our body style, besides making a custom one. And I just want something for looks not really function.

Got it off a guy who posted it on the local 4x4 site.
Sorry, but keep a look out for this kinda stuff,I usually see them pop up on the for sale section every so often.
Its a little different then that one, it mounts to the bumper only with 4 bolts.
Unfortunatly the bottom bolts are directly in front of the bumper brackets, so I have yet been able to bolt it on properly.
Pretty sure its for a 2nd gen truck or 1st gen runner.

In theory the procomp one WILL work...But it will just sit lower. I want mine to sit up on the grill a little higher. Check out FABTECH...they have a real nice one, that mounts to the bumper. I'll probably go with that one.

Someone just had the Fabtech one for sale in the marketplace section. They want like $300 bucks for those things new, and I don't like how they mount to the bumper in 2 places. The one in the picture above, has the two uper bars that actually bolt to the top of the bumper and then there's seperate mounts for the bottom. Offroad warehouse sells ORI bars " 2 different models" like the one above $110-$140. Their site is currently being changed so you can't find them right now,"at least I can't". I want one for my third Gen 4runner, but knowone makes them. I thinks it's time to fab a Taco one to my rig, or maybe a 2nd gen one!

If you know someone that can weld have them make you one.
I have about $20.00 in this one not counting my time to make it.
Just offering another option, you can have it made to fit your truck.

i ordered one of those bumpers for my truck 96 tacoma it was a pro comp and it sucked nothing lined up and they said it was a bolt on deal. i called them up and the guy said oh never mind it is a one size fits all i guess mine wasn't one of those sizes. it wasn't even the same as the pic on line. so when i sent it back on the box it came in. it said procomp suspencion(spelling??) that works. so in big black letters i wrote bumpers that don't. it might work for you thou.

Here's mine its a Pro comp Was 125 shipped to my door and it bolts right on to the bumper looks good works good but would not even think about using it for anything more then bolting the lights too. It is made to hold 2 lights but as you can see a little imagination and I got 4 6" to work on it.

Here is a link to the FABTECH one...cheapest I can find it so far. http://www.performancelifts.com/cgi-.../FTT10020.html
Seems like they dont make it JUST for the Toyota, its more of a universal for mini trucks. Im gonna search around eaby and some other sites, to see what I can come up with. JEGS says it wont work with a bodylift...but that doesnt make sence. It mounts to the bumper...so I dont think having a bodylift would be a problem.

I was off by $100. But I still think $200 is too much even if it is new. I still think the ORI is a better setup, with the upper bars that mount to the bumper. More than likely that's what JAY351 has on his rig. They make a Baja Challenger which is like Jay351's and they make a baja eliminator that has the bottom bar go completely across the front and has a higher hoop to allow for 8" lights if you wanted.
