it might be that the grille and the corner lamps dont align right... what year is it?

maybe the older model rims and badass locking hubs might be throwin you off a bit. looks like a great 4runner.

ah HAH!! So it's a '90 runner, and it's got the 92+ grille/bumper on it. THat's whats throwing me. Interesting, very interesting...

5speed for sure! but yes i dont think they line up just right.

ah ha i thought it didnt have the right stuff on it. now i also noticed that the corners have what seems to be places for screws and the grille has nothing to attach the front part of the light to the grill. this is the side marker.

Yeah, you have the stock corners with the newer grille. It looks cool though, I say keep it.

That grille was on 92-95 runners. The bumper, valance, and turn signals are all unique to those specific years too. Unless someone swiched the whole front end (like a wreck) it should be right. You are right that the corner lights dont line up right though. If the corner lamps are aftermarket replacement and the grille is stock (or vice versa) they will have a gap like that.
