Hi everyone! I just joined so I thought I'd introduce myself here.
I'm Kevin, and this is my '86 Hilux/Pickup Xtra Cab 4x4. It has the 22R, 7 inches of lift (3" body, 4" suspension), and 33" x 12.5" x 15" Cooper Discoverer STT's. It also currently has 300k+ miles on the clock. I got it back in June of last year and I think I scored really well on it because it came with an extra 22R and even a locker that I might install in the future.
Here's how it looked when I got it (the spots of oil on the ground were from the power steering gearbox, which I plan to fix):
And how it looks now, with a Back to the Future-inspired look I'm still working on:

Every month a few of my buddies host a local "Jeep meet" but they welcome all vehicles. Usually a couple of our toyota friends and me come crash the party and show the Jeepers how the Toyota guys do it. We always get attention from the people attending these meets when we do crazy stuff like this. After all, we do have rock crawlers why not show off their capabilities! lol
My truck is the grey 4Runner to the left.

Just bought this guy. Dumb question but are the gas filler necks on these weird? I put gas in it for the first time yesterday and the nozzle wouldn't stay in, like it wasn't long enough. Did gas nozzles get shorter some point?

Congratulations that looks like a nice clean little truck, now for the gas filler i have the same problem with my 87 when i refuel my truck. I really don't know the reason why.

Had an 89 4Runner 22re Auto and I've always regretted selling it. Came across this bad boy on Craigslist the other day and scooped her up. The body and interior are rough but the motor and front end have been completely rebuild. I plan to straighten the body out and give her a new paint job. Also one of the advantages of being in Alabama...no rust! She has 300,000 miles and going strong.
^Sweet find!!
