^^^That is beautiful. The only imperfection I see is the scabby shifter boot. There are several sellers of new ones on eBay. I like these, from England. They can make a gray that matches:

Interesting. I have no idea. Can someone confirm this?

Fantastic! Thanks for the link. I'll have to pick one of those up.

The truck is very nice considering the age. Many small dents and small surface rust spots that don't show up in the photos, but it's not bad considering 250k miles.

Specs:
  • 1988 (09/87 Build Date)
  • 22RE 4cyl Motor
  • 4x4
  • W56 5spd
  • Xtracab
  • SR5 Package
  • Powersteering; No A/C

Fits Toyota 4 Runner Tacoma Pickup Hilux Shift Boot 84 95 | eBay
Nice find. I've been meaning to look up a new shift boot. I think I may splurge on a leather one.

Thanks

That is the correct way of the skid plate to be mounted on that great looking truck.

Havent posted in a couple years. This is my 94 from the day I got it to the way it currently sits. List of stuff done to it the last couple years. Warn Rockcrawler front bumper, Badlands 12,000lb winch, Trail-Gear rear bumper, Trail-Gear tube doors, free roll bar, Warn Receiver shackle and D-ring, 80's Toyota Tercel bucket seats, Marlin Crawler HD shifter seat and bushing, LROR shift knobs, OME steering stabilizer, low profile bump stops, 32x11.50x15 Kenda Klever MT's on 15x7 Tacoma wheels. Pretty sure there is some other things I have done that I am forgetting.
