Nice, I saw some pics of another one a year or so ago and thought "Damn, that's pretty sweet." I don't know what kind of axles they're running under there, but for all the work I'm sure was involved in that swap I'd think they should know their stuff well enough to stay away from any crap...cough, coughD30cough.

Underpowered eh, I guess Nissans don't come with 4:10's or 4:30's stock, lol. Granted most of our 22R's themselves are already underpowered and need those gears to move normal size tires. And yeah, looking at that pic again it is leaning quite a bit there. I didn't know those were so top heavy like that. Oh well, still think it's pretty cool, definitely not something you see very often.

Oh yeah it's a awesome rig. He's running 33's and powered out more then once running 4low. He told me had gears for one axle but not the other. He's also got a V6. So I'm unsure what's going on there ya know. I'm running 4.10's with 3.4 and 35" tires with no issues at all.

It's having trouble with 33's with a V6!? Man, my 22RE is turning 33's with 4:30's just fine. 4:88's would probably be optimal, but I haven't had any reason to hurry on re-gearing.

Saw the opportunity at work, this is where the new cars are delivered to customers. 1987 4Runner Turbo, currently street driven until I can get a few more things sorted out like a decent lift kit and turbo support bracket. Sure is purdy though 1,400 miles on a new 22R-TE and CT-26 turbo.
5-speed swap coming very, very soon. I have all parts and a new clutch. I'm pretty busy with other things in the meantime, time is scarce.
