And yes I am ashamed I didn't get any pics up for the calendar this year, I was trying so hard to get up in the hills and get some sweet shots but just never had the chance

It was always something, but next year I will get it done

if you're talking about the green late model, its not grey darlin lol, and he's more into dirt bikes than offroading his truck, but he's looking to build a crawler after he graduates

I just don't like the 2000 and ups ( Ii know, I know the 99's are the same but just had a different hood) they are just too big and bulky. Just like when Chevy went from the 06's to the 07's. They just about doubled in size, body wise.

The larger Tacomas didn't start until 2005, I had a 2004 2-wheel drive that was small.

I know they didn't change until then, but in 2000 is when they started getting fat. Taller hoods, higher grills, general ugliness. Compared to the pre-2000's that are about the same size as our trucks body wise.

Okay I guess I am really biased towards out trucks.

Here's an updated pick of mine so I don't look like a text post.

nice bar, how much does that weigh? roughly. I have the 2 tube bar and its about 85-90lbs I got it for two reasons tho, my mom's yellow 79 had the same bar, and it's smitty like my bumpers. but i'm curious to the weight difference

the rollbar I would say way 75-100lbs, and the tube bumper maybe 40-50lbs. lighter weight non heavy duty bars. Mounted straight to the factory mounts that I cut down. Was meant for a Jeep I think. Its not gonna be a rock crawler but a street queen, with some minor offroading.

Post Your Pics!!!-image-2969736348.jpg hi YT. I'm a pretty new member n I figured I would post a couple pics of my 89 pickup. Extra cab 2wd 22RE. 5spd. This is from when I first bought it and took it for a spin out in the hills behind town with my brother and his red 94 pu. Done a bit of wrk to it since. Mostly minor. Radiator, grille, new spark plugs, removed graphics(sry but they were peeling pretty bad). plan on doing timing chain hopefully tmrw.
